30-Second Low Back Stretch

Short on time? Try this simple stretch to help relieve tension in your lower back.

Single Knee-to-Chest Stretch

How to do it:

  1. Lie on your back with both knees bent.
  2. Gently pull one knee toward your chest.
  3. Keep your opposite foot flat on the floor.
  4. Hold for 15 seconds.
  5. Switch sides and repeat for 15 seconds.

Total Time: 30 seconds

Benefits

✅ Helps reduce low back stiffness
✅ Gently stretches the muscles surrounding the lumbar spine
✅ May improve mobility after prolonged sitting
✅ Easy to perform at home, work, or after exercise

Pro Tip

Take slow, deep breaths while stretching. Avoid pulling so hard that you create pain or discomfort.

Remember: A stretch should feel gentle and relieving—not painful. If your symptoms worsen or pain travels down your leg, stop and consult a healthcare professional.
