What to expect during your first Chiropractic Visit
Bring your insurance card so that our staff may properly inform you on your chiropractic or acupuncture benefits.*
The Physical
The physical will consist of:
- History consultation
- Postural analysis
- Range of motion analysis
- Orthopedic and neurological exams
- X-Ray if necessary *
- Your first treatment
X-Rays are taken based on history and severity of injury *
$200.00 for Emergency Visit (Saturdays, Holidays and Holiday Week ends)
The Second Visit
The second visit will consist of:
- Review of findings report
- Consultation
- Second treatment
*California Chiropractic Center will look patient benefits up as a courtesy to our patients and by no means is our responsibility. 3C cannot ensure the accuracy of these benefits as these are given to 3C by your insurance company who they themselves state that the benefits that we receive are not promissory of payment and therefore can be inaccurate. All patients are ultimately responsible for looking up their own benefits and 3C (Chiropractor San Francisco) is not responsible for misinformation or mistakes provided to them by any insurance company.
Office Policy
A. 24 Hour Cancellation Fee
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible and at minimum 24 hours before you appointment. Why 24 hours in advance? In general, it is well known that this not only an industry standard for many businesses but also you are withholding a valuable time slot that someone in pain may have utilized. You may cancel your appointment via email, 3Cchiro@gmail.com or doctoralexf@adjust3C.com or by calling our office at (415) 979-9577 but should be documented accordingly. If in the event the phone is not answered during a break, our staff is occupied or after hours please leave a detailed message with your last name and appointment time. "I called and no one answered" will be an unacceptable, as an answering machine is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is checked on weekends.
If we receive a cancellation less than 24 hours before your appointment it is up to our discretion to enforce our 24 Hour Cancellation Policy and charge a $70 fee. All patients no matter if they are a cash patient or insurance patient will be charged the 24 Hour Cancellation Fee. Insurance patients may ask or wonder why we don't bill or charge their insurance? The answer to that question is the fact that your insurance does not cover missed appointment fees and in addition, we can not bill or charge your Insurance as that is illegal and you just committed insurance fraud!
Let's define discretion so you may understand that if you cancel at 22-23 hours before your appointment we will probably not charge you our 24 Hour Cancellation Fee. If you are a person that continually cancels you appointment less than 24 hours, for example 20-22 hours, we will issue you a warning and tell you that next time you cancel we will charge our 24 Hour Cancellation Fee. If you cancel your morning appointment after 1 pm the day before or if you cancel the day of your appointment we will enforce the 24 Hour Cancellation Fee.
As you can see we provide some flexibility with our 24 Hour Cancellation Policy as we understand that your schedules and lives are hectic and there are some uncontrollable circumstances but at the same time we would like you to be respectful to our time, our other patients time and the patients who are in pain and who are dire need of those time slots and our services. If we feel our generous flexibility is used against us in some unforeseen circumstance we will remove our flexibility and will enforce a 24 Hour Cancellation Policy with no future exceptions. We value your time, so please value our time and our other patient's time. I want to thank you for your time and consideration.

C. Free 15-25 Minute Consultation!

D. Emergency Visits
$200.00 for Emergency Visit (Saturdays, Holidays, Holiday Week ends and after 7 pm Monday thru Friday).
